Product Marketing Manager

Description:

Product Marketing Managers at Nominum drive outbound marketing activities.  They develop and deliver on strategic marketing plans based on a thorough understanding of market and technology trends and the competitive landscape.  The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions and benefits is crucial; crafting messaging and positioning, and delivering content are primary responsibilities.  PMMs must be able to interface effectively with Product Managers, Solutions teams, and Sales and Channel Partners.  They must also work closely with Corporate Marketing to execute on programs and contribute to a wide variety of external communications channels that fuel Nominum’s position as a thought leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and communicate value propositions and develop hard hitting sales tools to  maximize leverage of the sales organization
  • Drive product launches and contribute to demand generation programs
  • Deeply understand market trends and competitors, develop actionable intelligence for the field and internal audiences

Requirements

  • Very strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • 7+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 4 years experience in a field facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree
