Products reach the end of their product life cycle for a number of reasons. These reasons may be due to market demands, innovation and development driving changes in the product, or the products simply mature over time and are replaced by functionally richer technology. Nominum recognizes that end-of-life (EOL) milestones impacts support for their customers. Below is Nominum’s EOL policy to help customers better manage their EOL transition.
Software Currency Policy
All Nominum software releases are supported for up to eighteen (18) months or three (3) subsequent major releases of such software; whichever comes first. A major software release is defined as a “dot release” which is in the X.X format (e.g. 5.1 to 5.2).
Complete EOL Product Support Policy
After formally announcing the EOL of a product, the following Nominum support policy** will be in effect:

Commercially reasonable efforts (normal business hours)
4 & 5:
Time and materials (normal business hours)
**Supportpre-payment exception: If you have a multi-year support agreement, you will continue to receive 24×7 Premium Support for the remainder of the pre-paid period on those Nominum products, regardless of where your product lies in the EOL cycle.
