Vantio Base Server
Vantio Base Server is Nominum's next-generation caching DNS server that allows carriers to deliver value-added subscriber-centric services that leverage DNS as a key control point in the network. Vantio is based on Nominum's carrier-proven caching name server technology, which delivers unsurpassed query performance and response time, ultra high availability and robust security. The Vantio server provides an extensible DNS platform for next-generation subscriber-centric services. It can be enhanced with the optional Vantio NXR Service Delivery Modules to enable new and differentiated services.
For existing CNS customers, deploying Vantio is a quick and seamless replacement that preserves all the underlying benefits of CNS while enhancing the DNS infrastructure with configurable, DNS-based services.
