Develop applications utilizing massive amounts of DNS Data
The Nominum N2 Platform has a REST based SDK with interfaces to components used by applications. It abstracts the complexity of Nominum Engines so developers can write applications without understanding the underlying Engine details. Access to schema definitions, log message formats, code examples and snippets are provided. Existing Vantio, ANS and DCS Command Channel APIs are available with the SDK to allow existing systems to continue to use them.
The SDK also provides APIs to interact with operator back office systems for mapping subscribers to their IP addresses or subnet blocks (business services). Integration points include network operator databases (table export, or trigger induced updates to external systems) and/or the web service used to access them, IP logs collected for operational IP and subscriber maintenance systems or DHCP/Radius logs/events of IP address data and changes. Integration will typically require collaboration with Nominum or 3rd party professional services.
