Nominum Data Aggregator presents a single dataset from distributed Nominum Engines allowing analytics to be performed across an entire cluster of engines. Nominum Engines are capable of gathering extremely granular DNS query data to provide better network visibility and event awareness. In most deployments, numerous Engines are deployed across a network and there is a requirement to collect query data in a central location.

- No performance impact on the Engines when query data and statistics are sent to the Data Aggregator.
- Transfer data can optionally be encrypted.
