The power behind the IDEAL ecosystem
The N2 Platform simplifies application development, enabling differentiated services with less operational risk and better agility while complying with network and security policies. The N2 Platform integrates directly with DNS engines, gathers and anonymizes this data allowing application providers’ seamless access to these DNS query streams on a real-time basis. The access to these real-time query streams and policy enforcement capabilities makes application development faster, more feature-rich and offers a lower total cost of ownership. In addition, the N2 platform simplifies the integration of applications with existing network operator systems and coordinates policies between network elements for shorter delivery time to market.
Enable network-wide configuration, policy enforcement, and analytics.
Facilities for highly scalable, network-wide security policy enforcement are built in, along with interfaces to support business and consumer facing applications for personalizing and securing the subscriber experience. Rich data gathered from Nominum Engines can be filtered, aggregated, indexed and uploaded to external systems such as big data analytics, logging and event management systems. Open APIs and SDKs for third parties to access platform components and Nominum Engines are also incorporated.
- Centralized platforms support widely distributed Nominum Engines.
- Highly scalable transaction processing with built- in redundancy.
- High performance software modules provide interfaces for system and policy configuration, and data collection and processing.
- Consistent distribution of system configurations and policies to engines.
- Consolidates user/state information for sharing among applications.
- Open RESTful interfaces.
The Policy manager processes List Categories, Subscriber Configuration, Policies and IP-address information from back office components. It then encodes these in a format suitable for input into the Engines. Learn More >
The Data Aggregator will provide access to filtered and unfiltered aggregated data for Nominum Core Engines. The data aggregator can export data into pre-defined formats that enable operators to augment their internal data warehouses. Learn More >
The Proxy receives user policy, IP allocation and list content updates from the Policy Manager. When a policy is triggered, the Proxy will match the request to the relevant user policy and return an appropriate response. Learn More >
Abstract out the complexity of the Command Channel so the in-house or 3rd party App developer can write applications without understanding the underlying Engine details. Learn More >
