Nominum Announces Executive Appointments

Strengthens Engineering Organization and Creates New Organization for Services
Redwood City, Calif., – September 11, 2007 — Nominum, the leading provider of network naming and addressing technologies, announced today that Sandy Wilbourn has joined the organization as the vice president of engineering. In addition, Vivian Neou has been appointed vice president of customer support and services.
Sandy brings more than 20 years of engineering experience to Nominum, and will be responsible for leading the engineering organization and the expansion of the company’s product portfolio. Prior to joining the team, he was the co-founder and vice president of engineering and customer support at Determina, Inc., a software-only network security company that was recently acquired by VMware. Previously, he spent more than nine years at Rational Software, where under his direction the ClearQuest business unit grew from $20 million to $98 million in annual revenues.
Vivian is a Nominum veteran. She has held several executive positions during her tenure that have given her a deep understanding of the product line and allowed her to develop strong customer relationships. She will oversee the customer support and services organization that is responsible for customer implementations, training, service and support. This new organization was created in response to the strong customer adoption of Nominum’s product line.
