Nominum Appoints Tim Dyer as Vice President of Sales

Former Thomson Telecom and Lucent Technologies Senior Executive to Join Nominum’s Executive Team
Redwood City, Ca., August 28th, 2006 - Nominum Inc., the leading provider of network naming and addressing solutions, today announced that Tim Dyer has joined the company as vice president of sales. In this role, Tim will be responsible for expanding the company’s overall sales revenue globally, further driving Nominum’s footprint and leadership in the telecommunications and cable markets.
With over 20 years of telecommunications, computer networking and network security marketplace experience, Tim brings significant expertise from both the telecommunications and cable markets, and a track record of driving strategic sales opportunities with the largest carriers and cable operators worldwide. Most recently, Tim was the senior vice president and general manager of Thomson Telecom for North America, where he played a critical role in sales, marketing and product direction for the North American market. Prior to this, he held an executive sales position at Ascend Communications/Lucent Technologies where he was responsible for all sales related to the emerging service provider marketplace, growing this business to $800 million while managing a 125 person team.
