Nominum Appoints New VP of Sales, EMEA

Former Juniper Networks Executive, Thierry Guenoun, to expand Nominum’s European footprint
Redwood City, CA January 30th, 2006 – Nominum, the leading provider of network naming and addressing solutions, today announced that Thierry Guenoun has joined the company as vice president of sales, EMEA. In this role, Thierry will be responsible for driving the company’s overall sales revenues and business development activities across the region.
Thierry brings with him nearly two decades of European IT sales experience with expertise across telecoms, networking and security sectors. Most recently, he was the regional sales director of Southern Europe for Juniper Networks, formerly NetScreen Technologies. During this period, Thierry played a key role in implementing sales strategies which significantly increased the company’s revenue, as well as securing major wins with leading European telcos. Prior to this, he held various management positions at Sonus Networks, Ascend/Lucent, Nortel and Timeplex.
