Nominum Appoints Marcus Smith to Chief Financial Officer

Smith Brings Proven Track Record of Financial Leadership in High-Growth Technology Companies
Redwood City, CA., October 30, 2006 - Nominum Inc., the leading provider of network naming and addressing solutions, today announced that Marcus Smith has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Marcus will be responsible for managing company financial operations as Nominum pursues expanding market opportunities.
Prior to joining Nominum, Marcus was CFO at FaceTime Communications, where he managed the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations groups of this rapidly growing security software provider. Previously, he served as Vice President of Finance at NetScreen, where he managed SEC compliance, led the company's acquisition of Neoteris, and helped guide the company during its acquisition by Juniper Networks. Marcus has also held executive-level financial positions at a number of high-technology companies, including SONICblue, ReplayTV, and Storm Technology. He worked for Price Waterhouse for 11 years.
