Nominum Boosts Worldwide Sales Effort with Appointment of New VP Worldwide Sales & Channels

Industry Heavyweight, Abraham Ayat, Joins Nominum’s Executive Team
Redwood City, CA, August 15, 2005 – Nominum, the leading provider of IP address infrastructure solutions, today announced the appointment of Abraham (Abe) Ayat as vice president, worldwide sales and channels. In this role, Abe will be tasked with expanding the company’s overall sales revenues. His key responsibilities include, direct sales, indirect and channel sales, sales support, professional services, and customer relations.
With more than 20 years of extensive IT solution-selling experience, Abe has developed an impressive track record as a sales executive. Most recently, during his two year tenure as vice president and senior executive officer of North American sales for NetManage, he led the sales team to seven consecutive profitable quarters.

Prior to his time at NetManage, Abe was the vice president of sales for ON Technology Corporation (currently Symantec Corp) where he was responsible for achieving significant revenues that caused ON’s turnaround to profitability. Previously, Abe served as the vice president of North American field sales support and services for Novadigm (currently Hewlett Packard) and held key sales and management positions at OpenVision Technologies (currently Veritas), and Ingres Corporation (currently Computer Associates).
Abe holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco, California.
