Nominum Picks Industry Veterans to Lead Sales Efforts

REDWOOD CITY, CA., August 14, 2002 - Nominum, a pioneer of Internet name and
address management solutions, today announced two additions to its executive
management team. Miguel Nhuch, former Vice President of Global Business
Development for Entrust Technologies, has been named Nominum's Vice President of
Sales and Channels. In addition, Richard Kirk has been named Regional Vice
President of Sales for Europe.

contributors in achieving Nominum's business objectives."
Nominum will
tap into Miguel's 20 years of business development leadership and technology
sales to bring new DNS and DHCP software and services to market in the coming
months. Miguel's prior experience includes direct sales into strategic accounts
as well as the creation and management of channels and OEM partnerships. During
his tenure at Entrust, Nhuch was responsible for the creation of strategic
alliances that included partners such as Sun, IBM and Oracle. Prior to Entrust,
as Vice President of Business Development at Weblogic (now BEA Systems), Nhuch
established channel relationships with Novell and IBM.
Richard will lead
the sales team's European expansion, reporting directly to Nhuch. As Regional
Vice President, Richard brings to Nominum more than 20 years of sales experience
and building strategic alliances. Kirk will manage the expansion of Nominum's
European sales force and oversee sales channel development. Prior to joining
Nominum, Kirk was COO of Reef, a global provider of Internet software
applications for the management of e-business. Before joining Reef, Kirk was CEO
of Tradence Inc.
