Jon Shalowitz is the Vice President and General Manager of SKYE, a new business unit within Nominum, offering Cloud-based DNS and Web Services.   Jon is responsible for leading all aspects of the new business, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Business Development.

Prior to Nominum, Jon was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Applied Identity, a security and identity management start-up as well as Sr. Director of Product Management at Securify (MFE), a security management company and Sr. Director of Product Management of Optimal Networks (CPWR), an application acceleration company.  Jon also held various senior level marketing, product management, and business development roles at NetScreen (JNPR) and 3Com where he created several successful business line extensions.  Jon has also worked extensively in Asia and spent 5 years in Tokyo helping international corporations build lasting businesses in Japan.

Jon holds an MBA from Stanford University and an A.B. in Public Policy from Duke University.
